In November 2003, just before the launch of a new pension system implemented since January 1, 2004, the Pension Hotline was established.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy of Ukraine, the Pension Fund of Ukraine and the State Commission for Regulation of Financial Services Markets in Ukraine with the support of the USAID/PADCO Ukraine Pension Reform Implementation Project took part in the Hotline creation.
Since January 2006, after termination of the USAID/PADCO Ukraine Pension Reform Implementation Project, the technical assistance to the Hotline has been provided by the USAID Capital Markets Project.
The Hotline consultants work pair wise. On average they receive from 100 to 300 calls per day. The qualified Hotline consultants are always ready to answer people’s questions on the new pension system parameters.
The Hotline number is 0-800-500-392
The Hotline is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except official government holidays.
Calls to the Hotline are toll-free for residents of all regions of Ukraine.
